J.P. Kastner, CREATiVESPORTS.com

JP Kastner has been playing fantasy baseball since 1985. He prefers to play simulation style games like Strat-O-Matic and tolerates counting arbitrary statistics like RBI and Wins in order to preach his gospel that there is a more realistic game to play where defense matters and a LOOGY has value.
JP is a partner with CREATiVESPORTS and is the developer of the Zen Projection Engine. He has also designed the newly re-launched Mastersball website. He has written for both the Fantasy Baseball and Fantasy Football Guides, and has appeared on MLB.com, CBS Sports, USA Today and on XM Radio. His personal blog on Strat-O-Matic is Ballpark Homerun.
He has played in Tout Wars for the past three seasons in the Mixed League. He even took part in the 2008 AL Tout Wars auction with only thirty minutes of preparation when Dean Peterson of Stats LLC was stuck at the airport in Cincinnati. That team came in second.
He lives next to the Milwaukee River in Glendale, WI with his wife Jill, daughter Julia and son Jacob.
