Fred Zinkie joins the Tout Wars competitors after serving as the SWAT for the Tout AL-Only league in 2010. He has been writing about fantasy baseball for the past five years. He started with ESPN.com as the Team Correspondent for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2006. After getting a taste for work in the industry, Fred moved to FantasyBaseball.com in 2008 and started writing player news, working under the guidance of Tout veterans Todd Zola, Rob Leibowitz and Perry Van Hook. He moved up to the position of News Coordinator in 2009 and Content Manager for the site in 2010. Fred started writing for MLB.com in 2011.
Fred lives near Toronto and works as a football coach and PE teacher when he isn’t writing about fantasy baseball. He and his wife Sarah welcomed their first child (Jackson) into the family last summer.
