Registration for Doubt Wars is closed. Sorry.

Derek Carty texted: “i told my mom about doubt wars and she thought it sounded awesome, i think she even signed up lol”

Unfortunately for you, but not Derek’s mom, registration is now closed. But we’ll be writing about the Doubt leagues this week, and spilling the beans on all the players the Doubt Warriors thought the Tout Warriors missed the ball on. And we’ll be back next year, with a longer registration window and some more wrinkles.doubtwarslogo

Doubt Warriors for each Doubt Wars team, picked a 23 man roster based on Tout Wars prices (plus $1). (They find their tools to Create Rosters under Make Transactions, in the Team Menu.)

Doubt Wars is a draft and hold league. No transactions once the team is set. The follow their teams and the standings all season long at onRoto.com. It’s like playing against the Tout Wars pros.

And if you put together the winning draft-and-hold entry you’ll take home valuable and fun prizes at the start of next season, including Scott Engel’s offer of Rotoexperts.com Xclusive Edge year-round subscriptions for MLB and NFL, Paul Sporer has offered up subscriptions to Paint The Black, Rotowire offers the Rotowire Baseball Guide 2015,  Rotoman’s The Fantasy Baseball Guide 2015, Patton $ Online Cadillac Editions and Bolick’s Guide to Fantasy Baseball Prospects 2015, and more!

Brian Walton has written about the league at Mastersball.com.

  1. Sorry Evan. The registration form had some sort of glitch, and we missed you. Feel free to play along, show your ideal team here in the comments, but the official game is closed. We’ll do better next year.

  2. Sorry, but yes. You can still put together a team and play along. But the official contest closed. I’m sorry for the difficulty with registering. It took longer to get the game off the ground than we anticipated and the registration process changed at the last minute, from automated to manual, which was the source of the problems. Next year we’ll start registration much earlier and the game the Monday after Tout Weekend. Again, sorry.

  3. Guys – I also put in a request on the morning of 3/29 and never received an invite. Does this mean I am SOL for the year?

  4. Hey guys, I put in a request a few days ago for all three leagues and registered at Onroto.com. I haven’t seen an invite and nothing has popped up at Onroto.

  5. I also put in a league request (one for all three) yesterday at 1:48 pm (Saturday) and haven’t heard back yet. No invite in trash either.

  6. Everyone is free to play, regardless of past performance.

Alarmingly, I’ve received a few notes from people whose emails I haven’t received. Since I’ve also received many emails from the form I’m at a loss how to address this except to say that you can also register by emailing webmaster@toutwars.com and please say which league or leagues you want to play in and include the words Doubt Wars in the subject.

    Thanks.

  7. I sent my email and name but have not seen an invitation yet. Does this mean I’ve been blocked because my team was so bad last year?

  8. I only requested a mixed league, but if you need to fill spots I can take an NL and AL spot as well. Let me know if you need that.

  9. I’m waiting to fill up leagues, or at least get a good chunk filled. But it’s happening, very very soon. Invites will go out.

If you don’t have an onRoto.com account (free), you can sign up there with the same email you registered with. When the league launches it will show up in your welcome page at onRoto.com.

  10. Hey guys, I input my name and email yesterday to join Doubt Wars. I checked the site again today and noticed a third requirement (to choose AL, NL or Mixed). I input my info again with the Mixed option, but I have not received an email regarding instructions. Please let me know how to join. Joeydamush@aol.com. Thanks and looking forward to this!
