The Doubt Is Set!

Ten Doubt Wars leagues set today, which will at the end of the season be combined into one Mixed, one NL and on AL contest.

Despite a record number of signups, the shortened time to complete rosters and a process that we probably should have explained better for newcomers, the overall number of teams is similar to last year’s contest.

Doubt Wars teams can check their standings all season long. Look for a public announcement of the winners at the end of the season.

  1. Hi Roger,
There was clearly a problem and I’m trying to figure out how to fix it.
If you signed up you were assigned to a league. To access your team you had to register at onRoto.com. Once you did that, and signed in, your league was listed. I’m pretty sure this worked the way it was supposed to.
I sent out a few reminders for teams that weren’t registered to register over the weekend.
What I didn’t do was send out reminders for teams that I thought should have known that signing in to onRoto.com would show them their team. I assumed that those that were registered knew how it worked, but that may well have been wrong.
I’m sorry it didn’t work out. One great thing about this is that you can create your team under Doubt rules and compare it to the “official” results come the end of the season. We have to draw a line, but I’m pretty sure you won’t get much advantage seeing how many homers Madison Bumgarner hits the first week to invalidate the comparisons.
And we look forward to it working better for everyone next year.
    Best,
    Peter

  2. I know it’s too late to do anything, but FYI, I never got an initial invite. I got notifications that I could change my teams this morning, but didn’t see them till too late. Looks like this might have happened to others, given the number of vacant teams.
