Brian is one of the principals of Mastersball.com and a long-time contributor to Rotoman’s Fantasy Baseball Guide. He authors the St. Louis Cardinals prospect section in the annual FOX Fantasy Baseball / Scout.com Prospects Guide and been published on FOXSports.com and Yahoo.com.
Brian is a full-time writer. His Cardinals organization-focused site is The Cardinal Nation, a part of Scout.com in association with FOX Sports and he also blogs daily at The Cardinal Nation Blog. Brian writes a weekly in-season column for FOXSportsMidwest.com, is a former columnist for the St. Louis Globe-Democrat and has a weekly segment on KXnO FOX Sports Radio in Des Moines.
In fantasy competition, he was the National League Tout Wars champion in 2009, amassing the highest point total in the history of the league, and placed second in each of the subsequent two seasons. He is also a member of the Xperts Fantasy League.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Mathematics, Brian has fooled himself into believing that fantasy sports is actually a practical application of his educational training.
